Key points of the presentation: to address the types of complications and what can led them to occur (mechanical, biological and aesthetic) to discuss the materials used nowadays in „safe” implant rehabilitation cases soft tissue around implant reconstructions, how much and where we need it the most can immediacy help biology how to pick a proper connection in FP1,FP2 and FP3 cases (implant vs. MUA) fixed vs. fixed removable in challenging cases (bone level vs. tissue level implants)
This presentation will showcase cutting-edge technological advancements in digital dental treatment planning, guided surgery, and immediate loading protocols. The primary focus centers on enhancing everyday clinical usability through automated workflows powered by artificial intelligence, making sophisticated procedures more accessible and predictable for practitioners. Through live case demonstrations, attendees will gain insight into step-by-step procedures that can be seamlessly integrated into daily clinical practice. The session will bridge the gap between technological innovation and practical implementation, empowering clinicians to leverage these advanced tools to improve patient outcomes while streamlining their workflow efficiency. Key learning outcomes include understanding automated treatment planning protocols, mastering guided surgery techniques, and implementing immediate loading strategies supported by automatized decision-making processes.

Dr. Nikolaos – Stefanos Kampanas is a general dentist, international speaker and Ivoclar Vivadent Key Opinion Leader from Athens, Greece. He graduated from the Dental School of Athens University in 2016. After the completion of the undergraduate program, he founded his passion for Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry, with his friend and mentor Dr Alexandra Papanikolaou.
Since 2018, he has worked as a partner alongside Dr Alex Papanikolaou at Smile Esthetics in Athens, Greece, practicing exclusively in the fields of Aesthetic and Restorative Biomimetic Dentistry.
Dr Kampanas has published articles in international journals in the field of Restorative Dentistry and has participated in Greek and international conferences and webinars, where he shares his knowledge of direct posterior and anterior restorations. He is the founder of the hands-on seminar series “Posterior Saga”, a project where he shares tips and tricks to general dentists who want to learn more about biomimetic morphology of direct composite restorations. He helps general dentists to improve their skills by teaching them to create functional and aesthetic morphology in the posterior zone with direct composite.
Posterior indirect restorations are something we all face in daily practice. Yet they often bring the biggest challenges. In this lecture, I will walk through the complete workflow from start to finish: treatment planning and communication, preparation strategies, temporization, digital vs. analog impressions, and finally cementation. Whether it’s a single tooth or a more extensive rehabilitation, each step has its pitfalls and pearls. The goal is to make posterior ceramics predictable, durable, and truly biomimetic.
Anterior ceramics are where dentistry meets artistry. But beautiful results never happen by chance, they are the outcome of solid planning. In this lecture, I will share a structured approach to the “big six” anterior restorations, from the very first wax-up or mock-up to final cementation. We will discuss preparation design, temporization, digital tools, and bonding protocols, but always with the main message in mind: failing to plan is planning to fail. With the right sequence and attention to detail, anterior ceramics become not just possible, but predictable.
Rubber dam isolation. We all know we should use it, but making it predictable is another story. In this lecture, I will share practical strategies, tips, and tricks to finally make the rubber dam your best friend rather than your biggest struggle. From indications and materials to step-by-step techniques and troubleshooting, you’ll learn how to take control of this “mysterious blue sheet.” Mastering isolation will not only improve your clinical outcomes but also transform the way you work! More comfort, more consistency, more confidence.
Direct composite restorations can provide minimally invasive solutions with great aesthetic results in the anterior zone.
However, many times their management can be very challenging for the modern dentist. In this lecture will try to unlock tips and tricks, that will help us to overcome the clinical challenges, simplify the procedure and create a predictable aesthetic result in the anterior zone.
Every integrated endodontic therapy requires restoration of the coronal cavity. The choice of type of the restoration depends on the amount of the residual tooth structure and will play a critical role to treatment success and to the survival rate of the restored tooth as well. Adhesive dentistry provides a variety of minimal invasive solutions for the clinical operator, in a concept that puts the respect of tooth structure in the center.
In this lecture will discuss the recommendations for treatment planning of endodontically treated teeth in the age of adhesive dentistry.
